Falcon Systems Engineering Corporation is adding another optional input cable to its line of accessories for the SBP-1100.
Flexibility, versatility and adaptability are important ingredients for the war fighter and the equipment he uses. Situations change rapidly and so do the resources that are available. Today’s warrior needs to be able to take advantage of every possible resource when the need arises and a means is available.
Most, if not all, of the vehicles the military has in service today are outfitted with plug-in electrical connection outlets positioned in easy to access locations somewhere in the vehicle. The standard plug, or NATO Slave, is the most common used in vehicles.
Falcon Systems, desiring to make its SBP-1100 portable power management system the “go-to” choice for anyone needing power in remote places, has expanded the versatility of its unit by providing an optional input cable designed to make it easier to replenish its rechargeable lithium-ion cell packs through use of a NATO plug connector.
The SBP-1100 has always been rechargeable using a DC source (along with AC, solar or wind turbines). Now, with the addition of this optional accessory cable, the war fighter has another means of easily tapping into the power resources available onboard our HMMWVs, Strykers, and trucks of all types. |
