A lightweight, rugged, high energy density, lithium-ion power system designed to be “military tough”, the SBP-1000 Smart Battery Power System will supply up to 350 watts continuously (500 watts for 15 minutes). At 16.8 lbs the SBP exceeds the storage capacity of more than 80 lbs of lead acid batteries. Standard output voltages are 12.4, 13.8, 16.2, and 24.0 VDC. However, the output voltage can be set anywhere from 10 – 28 VDC (factory configured). The SBP-1000 has many built-in features, not found in standard battery products:
- Lightweight: man-portable (16.8 lbs.)
- AC/DC/Solar/Wind Turbine rechargeable
- 1000+ watt-hours energy storage
- 10 – 24 VDC output
- 24/7 use, even while charging
- LCD battery status indicator
- Expandable to 2000+ watt-hours, or more, by combining 2 or more packs

- Graceful degradation — continues to operate in the event of failure of one or more internal lithium-ion cells
